Loft Dynamics strengthens the support for customers to be successful with their training device
Reto Ammann: Strong background with required competencies
Before changing to the helicopter industry Reto Ammann managed a branch of a Swiss bank over several years. Reto is now a professional helicopter pilot and flight instructor on the types Airbus H120, Bell 505 and the Robinson family R66, R44, R22. Presently he trains himself on the Airbus H125 VR Training device to work towards the AS350 type rating. He completed just over 1200 flight hours on helicopters and have spent countless hours in the simulator as an instructor or pilot. “We are delighted to have found such a competent person for this important position. Reto could already show his value in trainings at Air Zermatt and in operator trainings for Swiss flight examiners,” Fabi Riesen, CEO of Loft Dynamics mentions. Reto Ammann says: “As a professional pilot and flight instructor, safety is always a major concern for me. There is no better simulator, than the one of Loft Dynamics, to improve flight capabilities, even in challenging situations. It is a great pleasure to work close with you as operators to design the simulator training according to your needs. Especially now, as FOCA has approved to perform entire skill tests and proficiency checks on our H125 training device. My goal is to have an active exchange with you as customer to take full advantage of the potential the devices offer. Together with the powerful and innovative Loft Dynamics crew I gladly advise and support you in your projects without charging any expenses.“

High potential for training and checking
The Loft Dynamics VR training device offers with its realism extraordinary opportunities to train and check pilots praxis oriented. The simulators have a great value to learning basic manoeuvres on the Robinson R22, up to the execution of demanding scenario based trainings for any experience level of pilots on the Airbus H125. “We will provide our customers with use cases for various trainings. First I’m going to extend the variety of setups for proficiency and skill tests to offer a better flexibility to flight examiners. Furthermore, we will implement lessons to avoid and manage inadvertent instrumental meteorological conditions (IIMC), executing full down autorotation, dealing with tail rotor control malfunctions, recovering from Vortex ring state and handling malfuctions in scenario based trainings. All this will be done by asking you as customer, involving specific experts and considering feedback from pilots,” Reto Ammann explains. “It is of a high importance, that you as customer state your demands to find solutions together,” he adds.
