Full-flight simulators don’t replicate helicopter flight behavior at low speeds exactly. Even more critical, they don’t create an accurate picture of skid height above ground. Our technology provides real-time, high-fidelity simulation to replicate the behavior of the helicopter lifelike. This high-quality experience is crucial for developing skills in slow flight and hover maneuvers. Pilots experience VR technology that presents real-world cues and positioning references, allowing the pilot to learn how to control the helicopter and estimate its height above the ground. Sun effects and shadows add to the realism. The highly dynamic 6 DoF motion system, with finely tuned motion, enables pilots to feel even the slightest movements of the helicopter.

Our training device empowers pilots to practice normal and emergency procedures day and night, without risks associated with doing them in flight. They can execute full down autorotations, perform hover maneuvers up to and including external load practice and along with slope operations, and even experience the haptic sensation of skids meeting the ground.
