Loft Dynamics Unveils LofTWIN Virtual Demo Mode
LofTWIN virtual demo mode is a revolutionary innovation from Loft Dynamics that enables pilots to learn from world-class flight instructors anytime on our growing global fleet of VR simulators. Instructors such as former Air Zermatt CEO Gerold Biner and factory instructor at Eurocopter (now Airbus Helicopters) Glenn White are visually replicated in full-body avatars that provide real-time guidance in the virtual cockpit. Pilots experience haptic feedback from the controls, and data from each training session allows them to benchmark performance against some of the best pilots in the world.
LofTWIN democratizes the best pilot training resources through our growing network of simulators worldwide.
More New Features from Loft Dynamics
Beyond LofTWIN, our list of new features is growing rapidly. For example, pilots can now practice flying with night vision goggles (NVG) in our VR H125 FSTD. Pilots will see a highly realistic visual environment internally and externally, and they will be able to safely practice demanding night missions and scenarios. We also recently introduced whiteout and brownout simulations that allow pilots to experience these dangerous conditions in a safe environment and learn how to manage them effectively.
Loft Dynamics Showcases Latest Innovations at European Rotors 2024
Loft Dynamics had a strong showing at this year’s European Rotors in Amsterdam. We introduced new features such as LofTWIN, NVG, and whiteout/brownout simulations, and we displayed our Airbus H145 cockpit. We conducted 150 demo flights over three days, and all our slots were booked on the first day of the show. Our twice-daily live shows drew large crowds who watched demonstrations of our simulator’s capabilities. This was the first year we operated two simulators at the show, both of which ran nonstop with no downtime. We’re grateful to the Loft Dynamics team and everyone who stopped by to make the event such a success.
