A new EASA ruling enables pilots in Europe to complete all training and checking on our VR FSTDs; we have released the most realistic HESLO simulation on the market; and we are helping to build the future of aviation with our new apprenticeship program. Operators, pilots, and regulators are increasingly embracing our revolutionary VR simulators, and this will continue to accelerate our global expansion.

New EASA ruling allows all training and checking to be done on our FSTDs

In a landmark ruling, EASA has removed the requirement that full flight simulators (FFS) be used for training and checking. Loft Dynamics FSTDs are available across Europe to help operators and pilots meet these requirements safely and efficiently. The EASA ruling is a clear indicator that the regulatory environment is shifting in favor of VR FSTDs, which will dramatically increase the safety and accessibility of helicopter training. The EASA decision is part of a broader industry orientation toward VR FSTDs, and will likely inform other regulatory changes around the world.

Experience the only HESLO simulation qualified by EASA and the FAA

Loft Dynamics has released the most realistic HESLO simulation on the market. Our Airbus H125 HESLO simulation feature gives pilots a high-resolution panoramic view, a precise replication of flight physics, and the ability to practice mirror and vertical reference techniques. These features enable pilots to train for critical transport missions more safely, realistically, and efficiently than ever before. Loft Dynamics will be at European Rotors 2024 in Amsterdam from November 4-7. Stop by our booths (#3085 and #3089) to see HESLO demonstration flights from renowned pilots.

Loft Dynamics participates in fourth HHO Symposium at DRF Luftrettung

The fourth annual HHO Symposium was held from September 10-11. Loft Dynamics was excited to take part in an event that brings operators, pilots, and innovators from around Europe together to focus on how to make hoist operations safer and more effective. We hosted 44 demos in just two days and received excellent feedback on the immersiveness of our FSTD. Rescue, emergency, and public safety personnel were in attendance, and they offered expert insights on improving hoist operations. We are grateful to DRF Luftrettung for inviting us to be part of such a great event.

Congratulations to the team: Loft Dynamics takes part in classic Alpenbrevet cycling marathon

We’re proud of our colleagues who just participated in Alpenbrevet, the biggest cycling marathon in Switzerland. This was one of many athletic activities you’ll find our employees participating in, along with yoga, running, and other workouts at our HQ. Loft Dynamics employees are credited with an hour per week to spend on these activities, which could mean braving epic mountain passes or fitting in a quick power workout during lunch. The cycling team is pictured relaxing after the successful completion of Alpenbrevet.
