Loft Dynamics Showcases Latest Innovations at European Rotors 2024 in Amsterdam
The Loft Dynamics team was in Amsterdam from November 4 to 7 for European Rotors, a major gathering of pilots, operators, OEMs, and industry leaders in the VTOL industry. This year’s event was particularly exciting, as it gave us an opportunity to share transformative new features for our VR simulators that will shape the future of flight training and safety.
Here are a few highlights:
- This year was the first time we operated two VR simulators at the show, one of which was reserved for type-rated H125 pilots to test out our new features.
- Over just three days, we conducted 150 demo flights. Our simulators ran nonstop without a single technical issue and no downtime.
- Pilots experienced our rapidly growing set of new features, such as night vision goggles, whiteout and brownout simulations, and the LofTWIN virtual demo mode.
- We hosted two live flight shows each day, which always drew large audiences and demonstrated the simulator’s capabilities — from our HESLO feature to LofTWIN.
- Pilots, operators, and OEMs learned about the transformative potential of LofTWIN, which enables pilots to train with pre-recorded demos from some of the best flight instructors in the world anytime on our growing fleet of simulators.
- We unveiled our Airbus H145 cockpit.
- There was significant demand for demo flights — all of our slots were booked on the first day of the show.
- Loft Apero was a huge success!
This year’s European Rotors gave us more opportunities than ever to show operators, pilots, OEMs, and other potential partners how we’re building the future of flight training and safety. We’re proud of the Loft Dynamics team for such a strong showing, and grateful to everyone who stopped by and made the event a success.
