Lifting off at HAI Heli Expo 2024 in Anaheim

Numerous pilots seized the opportunity to “lift of the ground” in our realistic Airbus H125 VR flight simulation training device (FSTD) at HAI Heli Expo 2024. Many representatives from the helicopter community could personally assess the excellent simulation quality and form their own opinions regarding valuable use cases.

Affordable, efficient training to improve flight safety

We are pleased about our announcements of signed contracts: HMotion, a joint venture of Airbus Helicopters and ADAC HEMS Academy desires to utilize two of our H145 which we develop in cooperation with Airbus Helicopters. SAF will utilize an Airbus H125 and H145 to train pilots at the training center in Tournon in the Savoie, France.

Live demonstrations by Claude Vuichard

Claude Vuichard, President of the Vuichard Recovery Aviation Safety Foundation and HAI Safety Award Winner 2018, highlighted the advantages of Loft Dynamics’ simulators in live flown and commented presentations to escape from vortex ring state, how to avoid slope landing accidents and performing up slope autorotations. Once more the safety expert’s explanation enthusiastic a large audience with the intention to reduce helicopter accidents.

I’m glad that we were able to demonstrate the new glass cockpit version of our Airbus H125 training device for the first time in the United States to such a competent audience. With our precise pose tracking system pilots can operate the avionics suite including touch screens intuitively. I'm always impressed by the positive feedback from competent aviation representatives after flying our simulator.
