Loft Dynamics attends I/ITSEC in Orlando
Our team was at the Interservice / Industry Training, Simulation, and Education Conference (I/ITSEC) in Orlando from December 2 to 6.
I/ITSEC is one of the largest events in the modeling and simulation industry, and it is mostly focused on defense and government customers. This was the first year we showcased our VR simulators at the conference, and we hosted over 60 demos. Loft Dynamics founder and CEO Fabi Riesen also delivered a presentation about the future of pilot training.
I/ITSEC was a great opportunity to demonstrate the evolving capabilities of our simulators, which are making pilot training safer and more accessible than ever before.
New features redefine pilot training
We have introduced many new features in 2024, such as whiteout and brownout simulations, night vision goggles, our EASA-qualified HESLO simulation, and LofTWIN virtual demo mode.
These features make our simulators even more customizable, allowing a diverse list of operators to train pilots for specific missions, locations, and scenarios. Our growing international network of simulators is a powerful knowledge-sharing platform that enables pilots to benefit from world-class instruction and data-driven training no matter where they are in the world.
Lofty Praise: Thank you, Tino, Gian & Michi
The end of the year is a great time to reflect on the achievements of our talented and dedicated team.
Tino is a software engineer and pose tracking hero who knows firsthand how effective our simulators are, as he trained on them before getting his pilot’s license.
Gian is our head of electronics and embedded systems, and he makes sure our simulator’s motion and electronics are working perfectly. Gian’s unshakable calmness and patience are always welcome in our high-energy, fast-paced office.
Michi is a mechanical engineer who knows every screw standard inside and out, and who is always willing to help—at Loft Dynamics and as a firefighter.
Thank you Tino, Gian, and Michi for five years at Loft Dynamics!
